ORDINANCE NO. 943
AN ORDINANCE OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ADDING SECTION 3265.1 TO
THE NEWPORT BEACH MU-
NICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO STREET PARKING OF
TRAILERS OR SEMITRAIL-
ERS ON BALBOA ISLAND.
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION L Section 3265.1 is
added to the Newport Beach Mu-
nicipal Code to read:
"SECTION 3265.1 Use of
Streets on Balboa Island for
Storage of Trailers or Semi.
'Trailers Prohibited. (a) No Per-
son who owns or has possession,
custody or control of any trailer
or semitrailer shall stop, stand
or park such trailer or semi-
trailer upon any public street on
Balboa Island between the hours
of 12 o'clock midnight and 8
o'clock A. M. unless it is attached
to a motor vehicle capable of
moving such trailer or semi-
trailer.
(b) The City Traffic Engineer
shall appropriately sign the
,streets on Balboa Island giving
notice of the provisions of this
.section and no person shall park
any trailer or semitrailer in
violation of such signs or the
provisions of this section."
SECTION 2. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City
and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its
adoption.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Newport
Beach held on the 28th day of
November, 1960, and was adopted
on the 12th day of December,
1960, by the ,following vote, to
wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Cook,
Stoddard, Somers, Lorenz,
Hart
NOES, COUNCILMEN: At-
kinson, Kingsley.

the foregoing Ordinance No. 943 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 12th day of December 19 60, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN• Cook, Stoddard, Somers, Lorenz, Hart
NOES, COUNCILMEN: Atkinson, Kingsley
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
