ORDINANCE NO. 945
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH RE-
ZONING PROPERTY AND
AMENDING DISTRICT MAP
NO. 26
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The following
described real property in the
City of 'Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, to
wit:
A portion of Lot 3, Tract 1125,
City of Newport Beach,
Orange County, California, as
said tract is shown on a
map recorded in Book 39,
Pages 7 and 8 of Miscellan-
eous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, more par-
ticularly described as fol-
lows:
Commencing at the inter-
section of the centerline of
Irvine Avenue with the cen-
terline of 17th Street (also
known as Westcliff Drive) as
said 17th Street and said Ir-
vine Avenue are shown on
said map of said Tract 1125;
thence South 39° 48' 55" West
along said centerline of said
Irvine Avenue 57.01 feet;
thence South 50° 11' 05" East
80.00 feet at right angles to
said centerline of said Irvine
Avenue to a point in the
Southeasterly boundary of
said Irvine Avenue as said
Southeasterly boundary was
revised in a deed of said Ir-
vine Avenue recorded in Book
4698, Page 284, 'Records of
said Orange County, said
point being also the true
point of beginning; thence
South 390 48' 55" West along
said Southeasterly boundary
of said Irvine Avenue 108.33
feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave North-
westerly having a radius of
256.55 feet; thence South-
westerly along said curve

17th Street) as said South-

Westcliff Drive is described
in said deed recorded in said
Book 4698, Page 284; thence
North 50° 10'3(Y' West along
said Southwesterly 'bound-
ary of said Westcliff Drive
350.00 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave
Southerly having a radius of
15.00 feet; thence Westerly
along said curve and said
Southeasterly boundary of
said Irvine Avenue through
a central angle of 90° 00' 35"
an arc distance of 23.57 feet
to the true point of begin-
ning,
as shown on District Map No. 26
referred to in Section 9102.2 of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code and made a part of Article
IX of said Code, be, and the
same is, hereby rezoned from an
Unclassified District to a C -N -H
District, and said Map No. 26 is
hereby amended to show this
zoning change.
SECTION 2. The Planning Di-
rector of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby instructed and
directed to change District Map
No. 26 so as to show the zoning
change described in Section 1
hereof, and, as said District Map
shall have been so amended, the
same shall remain in full force
and effect and be a part of
Article IX of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its
adoption.
This ordinance was intro-
duced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach held on the 12th
day of December, 1960, and was
adopted on the 27th day of De-
cember, 1960, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Atkin-
son, Cook, Stoddard, Hart,
Lorenz, Somers.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN:
Kingsley.
