ORDINANCE NO. 959
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH REZON-
ING PROPERTY AND AMEND-
ING DISTRICT MAP NO. 1
The City Council of the City of
Newport Beach does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The following de-
scribed real property in the City
of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, to
wit:
Blocks 1 to 26, inclusive,
Tract 772, as per map record-
ed in Book 23, pages 5 and
6, of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County,
California; and
Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 260,
River Section, as per map
recorded in Book 4, page 25,
of Miscellaneous Maps, Rec-
ords of Orange County,
California,
as shown on District Map No. 1
referred to in Section 9102.2 of
the Newport Beach Municipal
Code and made a part of Article
IX of said Code, be, and the
same is, hereby rezoned from an
R -3 District to an R -1 District,
and said Map No. 1 is hereby
amended to show this zoning
change.
SECTION 2. The Planning Di-
rector of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby instructed and
directed to change District Map
No. 1 so as to show the zoning
change described in Section 1
hereof, and, as said District Map
shall have been so amended, the
same shall remain in full force
and effect and be a part of Ar.
ticle IX of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its
adoption.
This ordinance was introduced
at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of New-
port Beach held on the 27th day
of March, 1961, and was adopted
on the 24th day of April, 1961, by
the following vote, to wit:

NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN:
