AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI-
TY OF NEWPORT BEACH AD-
DING SECTION 4228.1 TO
THE NEWPORT BEACH MU-
NICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
FISHING FROM PIERS IN
NEWPORT BAY
The City Council of the City
of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 4228.1
is added to the Newport Beach
Municipal Code to read:
'SECTION 4228.1. Hours of
Fishing from Piers in Newport
Bj.. No person shall fish from
any public wharf, dock, pier
or sea wall within Newport
Bay between the hours of 10
P. M. and 6 A. M, of the fol-
lowing day. -
SECTION 2. Th ?s ordinance
shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City,
and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its a-
doption.
This ordinance was introduced
ata regular meeting of the Ci-
ty Council of the City of New -
port Beach held on the 13th day
of May, 1963, and was adopted
on the 27th day of May, 1963,
by the following vote, to wit:

Stoddard, Gruber, Cook,
Hart. Lorenz, Marshall,
Elder.
NOES, COUNCILMEN:
