ORDINANCE N0, 1164
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING.SECTION 5221 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO HUMAN DEPOSITS
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1, Section 5221 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 5221. Human De osits, No person shall
urinate or evacuate is owe s on any public street,
sidewalk, alley, park or other public place, except
in a public restroom, or on private property without
the permission of the owner; tenant or other person
in control of such property,"
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effect-
ive 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 25th
day of April 1966, and was adopted on the 9th day of
May 1966, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: parsons, Marshall,
Gruber, Cook, Fomit, Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: Rogers
