AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISH-
ING A SETBACK LINE AND AMENDING DISTRICT MAP NO. 14
. The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. District Map No. 14, referred to in Section
20.06.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code and made a part of
Title 20 of said Code, is amended and a building setback line is
hereby established for the hereinafter described real property in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
as follows:
The front building setback line for Lots 17 through
26, Block 2, Section 2, Balboa Isle Tract, as shown
on Page 31, Book 6, of Miscellaneous Maps, County
of Orange, State of Callfornia, shall be eight
feet (8').
SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of Newport
Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change District Map No.
14 so as to show the building setback line established in Section
• 1 hereof, and, as said District Map shall have been so amended, the
same shall remain in full force and effect and be a part of Title 20
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once in the
official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effective 30
days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 14th day of
February 1967, and was adopted on the 27th day of
February 1967, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons,
Marshall, Gruber, Cook, Foreit, Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
