ORDINANCE NO. 1244
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADDING
SECTIONS 12.24.045 AND 12,24.058 TO THE NEWPORT
• BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PRIMA FACIE
SPEED LIMITS
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows;

SECTION 1, Section 12,24.045 is added to the Newport
Beach Municipal Code to read-
"12,24,045 Prima Facie Speed Limit -- Forty-five Miles
ereHour, a prima acre speed limit on the following
names streets or parts thereof shall be forty -five miles
per hour.
The easterly one -half of Campus Drive from Palisades
Road to MacArthur Boulevard."
SECTION 2, Section 12 .24.058 is added to the Newport
Beach Municipal Code to read-
"12.24.058 Prima Facie S eed Limit -- Fifty
Hour. The Facie speed limit on the followi
streets or parts thereof shall be fifty miles per
San Joaquin Hills Road."

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effec-
tive 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 11th
e
day of March 1968, and was adopted on the 25th day of
March , 1968, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN- Rogers, Parsons,
Marshall, Gruber, Cook, Forgit, Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN-
None
None
