ORDINANCE NO. 1314
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 17,08,0509 CHAPTER 17.08,
TITLE 17 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE, RELATING TO LANDING OF AIRCRAFT IN
NEWPORT HARBOR
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1, Section 17,08,050 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"17,08.050 Landing of Aircraft. No person shall
land or take off from the waters of Newport Harbor with
any aircraft without first obtaining a permit from the
City Council. Such permit may be issued if the City
Council determines that under the circumstances the pro-
posed landing or take off will not create a hazard to
life or property. In granting such permit, the City
Council may impose such conditions on the exercise thereof
as it deems appropriate,"
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
zznd day of September , 1969, and was adopted on the
13th day of October
