ORDINANCE NO. 1 3 4 8
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICT
MAP NO. 50
The City Council of the City.of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, to wit:
That portion of Block 93, Irvine's Subdivision, in the
City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State,of
California, as per map filed in Book 1, page 88,
Miscellaneous Record Maps in the - office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the land shown
on a map filed in Book 50, page 37, Record of Surveys
in the office of said County Recorder; thence South.
50 °26' 36" West 14.07 feet along the Northwest line
of -said land to the True Point of Beginning; thence
continuing South 50° 26' 36" West 936.94 feet along
said Northwest line and its Southwesterly prolongation
to a point on the center line of San Joaquin Hills
Road as described in a deed recorded in Book 8187,
page 566, Official Records of said County, said point
being on a curve concave Northeasterly having a radius
of 2200.00 feet, a radial to said point bears South
53° 33' 29" West; thence Northwesterly 414.90 feet
along said -curve and center line through an,angle of"
100 48' 20 "; thence; North 64° 21' 49" East 118067 feet
along a radial to said curve; thence -North 70° 32' 53"
East 487.52 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
Northwesterly having a radius of 100.00 feet; thence
Northeasterly 35.09 feet along said curve through an
angle of 200 06' 17 "; thence North 50° 26' 36" East
69.24 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
Northwesterly having a radius of 50.00 feet; 'thence
Northeasterly 20.13 feet along said curve through an
angle of 23° 04' 12 "; thence North 27° 22' 24" East
48.40 feet to a point on a curve concave Northeasterly
having a radius of 500.00 feet, a radial to said point
bears South 27° 22' 24" West; thence Southeasterly
73.57 feet along said curve through an angle of
80 25' 48 "; thence South 71° 03' 24" East 193.68 feet
to the,True Point of Beginning,
as shown on District Map No. 50, referred to in Section 20.06.030
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such reference made a

part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby rezoned from a C -O -H
District to an R -3 District, and said District Map No. 50 is
hereby amended to show this zoning change.
SECTION 2. The.Planning Director of the City of
Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to change District
Map No. 50 so as to show the zoning changes described in Section 1
hereof, and, as said District Map shall have been so amended, the
same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of Title 20
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 13th
day of . Juip , 1970, and was adopted on the 27th day of Ju1X
1970, by the following vote, to wit:
