AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 5.04.200 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE FOR ISSUANCE
OF BUSINESS LICENSES ON AN ANNUAL BASIS
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5.04.200 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"5.04.200 Payment and Term of License. All business
licenses shall be issued €er -tke

on—an annual basis; the
period covered by each_license_ shall be from—the—date of
issuance to 12 months from such date. A business—license—shall
become — delinquent 30_4ays after the gxpiration_of such-12-month
period_ Payment of the Business License Tax shall accompany

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 10th day of
January , 1972, and was adopted on the 24th day of January ,
1972, by the following vote, to wit:
