ORDINANCE NO. R 44 9 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH <br />REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICT MAPS <br />NOS. 34 AND 35 <br />The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does <br />ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The following described real property in <br />the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, <br />to wit: <br />That portion of Block 50 of Irvine's Subdivision in <br />the County of Orange, State of California, as per map re- <br />corded in Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps, in <br />the office of the County Recorder of said County, des- <br />cribed as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the easterly right <br />of way line of MacArthur Boulevard, 110.00 feet wide, as <br />described in a deed to the State of California recorded <br />July 25, 1940 in Book 1047, page 557, Official Records, <br />with a line parallel with and distant 32.00 feet northwest- <br />erly, measured at right angles, from the southeasterly line <br />of the northwesterly half of the southeasterly half of said <br />Block 50, thence North 7050'38" west 3986.47 feet along <br />said easterly right of way to the southerly boundary of <br />that certain abandonment for MacArthur Boulevard as des- <br />cribed in Parcel 2 of the resolution of the Board of Super- <br />visors of Orange County, California, recorded-April 25, <br />1963 in Book 6524, Page 300 of Official Records; thence <br />South 82 °09'22" West 5.00 feet along said southerly boundary <br />to the most southerly terminus of the easterly right of way <br />line of MacArthur Boulevard, 100.00 feet wide, as described <br />in a deed to the County of Orange, recorded January 10, 1963 <br />in Book 6389, page 641, Official Records, said most southerly <br />terminus being also the beginning of a non- tangent curve <br />concave easterly having a radius of 1150.00 feet, a radial <br />to said terminus bears South 82 009'22" West: thence northerly <br />403.91 feet along said curve and easterly right of way line <br />through an angle of 20 °.07'25 ": thence North 12 °16'47" East <br />70.44 feet along said easterly right of way line to a line <br />parallel with and distant southeasterly 703.77 feet, measured <br />at right angles, from the northwesterly line of said block <br />50: thence north 39 °48'15" East 699.24 feet along said <br />parallel line to a point on the southerly right of way line <br />of Campus Drive, formerly Paularino Avenue, 82.00 feet wide, <br />as described in a deed to the County of Orange recorded <br />January 2, 1963 in Book 6380, page 88 of Official Records, <br />said southerly right of way line being a non - tangent curve <br />concave southerly having a radius of 1,160.00 feet, a <br />radial line to said point bears North 14 °28'41" East: <br />thence easterly 513.18 feet along said curve and southerly <br />right of way line through an angle of 25 °20'51 ": thence <br />South 50 °10'28" East 2,709.45 feet along the southwesterly <br />right of way line of said Campus Drive to a point on the <br />-1- <br />
