AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 5.36.030 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED "SIZE AND
FORM OF REGISTER AND CARDS -- RETENTION
OF RECORDS"
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 5.36.030 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"5.36.030 Size and Form of Register and Cards --
Retention of Records. The register shall be permanently
bound so that no sheet may be taken therefrom and shall
be of the minimum size of 8 inches by 10 inches. The
registration cards shall be numbered consecutively and
shall be used in such sequence; the numbers shall be
printed or otherwise indelibly affixed to such cards,
and such cards shall be of the minimum size of 2 -1/2
inches by 4 inches; all such registration cards shall
be retained for a minimum period of one year."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be ef-
fective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
10th day of October , 1972, and was adopted on the 24th
day of October , 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
