AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ADDING CHAPTER 3.25 TO THE NEWPORT BEACH
MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED "SPECIAL FEDERAL
REVENUE SHARING FUND"
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 3.25 is added to the Newport
Beach Municipal Code to read:
"CHAPTER 3.25
SPECIAL FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND
Section:
3.25 Fund Established.
3.25 Fund Established. There is hereby created
in the City Treasury a special fund to be known as the
'Special Federal Revenue Sharing Fund,' for the purposes
specified in Public Law 92 -512, 92nd Congress, October 20,
1972, 86th Statute, 919 through 936, and all funds required
by said law to be deposited in the special fund shall be
deposited therein in compliance with the provisions of
the Code, and the disbursements and withdrawals from the
fund shall be made only for the purposes and in the manner
prescribed in the Code."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be effective
30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 27th

day of December , 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
