AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
• REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICTING
MAPS NOS. 39, 41, 54, 56 AND 58
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, to wit:
That portion of Blocks 56 and 57, Irvine's
Subdivision, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps
in the office of the Recorder of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at Engineer's Station 206 +97.10
in the center line of MacArthur Boulevard (100
feet wide) described as Parcel No. 1 in a deed
to the State of California recorded in Book 1047,
page 557 of Official Records in the office of
said Recorder, said point of beginning being
South 17 014'00" West along said center line 24.73
feet from the southerly terminus of a curve in said
center line described in said deed as Engineer's
Station 206 +74.30 = 206 +72.37 (ahead) and running
thence North 72 °46100" West 110 feet; thence North
69 044130" West to an intersection with the center
line of Jamboree Road (132 feet wide); thence
southwesterly along said center line of Ford Road
(84 feet wide); thence westerly along the center
line of Ford Road and its extension to an inter-
section with the center line of MacArthur Boulevard
(100 feet wide); and thence northerly along the
center line of MacArthur Boulevard (100 feet wide)
to the point of beginning,
as shown on Districting Maps No. 39, 41, 54, 56 and 58, referred
to in Section 20.06.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code,
and by such reference made a part of Title 20 of said Code,
is hereby rezoned from the Unclassified District to the Planned
Community District, and said Districting Maps Nos. 39, 41, 54,
56 and 58 are hereby amended to show this zoning.
• SECTION 2. The Director of the Community Development
Department of the City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed
and directed to change said Districting Maps to show the zoning
changes described in Section 1 hereof, and as said Districting

Maps shall have been so amended, the same shall be in full force
and effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach.
Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced'at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
