AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 20.02.090 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO REVISE THE DEFINITION
OF "BUILDING SITE"
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2.02.090 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"20.02.090 Building Site. The term 'building site'
shall mean a lot or parcel of land, in single or joint
ownership, and occupied or to be occupied by a main
building and accessory buildings, or by a dwelling group
and its accessory buildings, together with such open spaces
as are required by the term.of this Title, and having its
principal frontage on a street, road, highway, waterway
or ocean front. Where said building site is comprised of
more than one subdivided lot or fraction thereof, no new
construction, or alterations to existing structures in
excess of $5,000.00 in any one -year period shall be
permitted until such time as said site has been resub-
divided and the interior lot lines have been eliminated."

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
17th day of December 1973, and was adopted on the
14th day of jamm= 1974, by the following vote,
to wit:
