AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICTING
MAP NO. 10
• The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
to wit:
Parcel 1:
Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of Tract 710, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 24, Page 16 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County.
Parcel 2:
Lots 169 and 170 of the Subdivision of Block A,
East Newport, as shown on a map recorded in Book 4,
Page 51 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California.
Parcel 3:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Lot 2,
Tract 710, as shown on map recorded in Book 24,
Page 16 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
• County, California, thence westerly along the
northerly line of said Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of said
Tract 710 and the northerly lines of Lots 169 and
170 of the Subdivision of Block A, East Newport,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, Page 51 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, to
the west line of Lot 170 of said tract; thence
northerly along a line parallel to the easterly
line of said Lot 170 to the intersection with the
line of Ordinary High Tide of the Pacific Ocean as
described in the decree of the Superior Court of
Orange County dated August 22', 1928, a certified
copy of which decree was recorded September 19, 1928
in Book 203, Page 95 of'Official Records; thence
easterly along said line of Ordinary High Tide to
its intersection with the northerly prolongation of
the easterly line of Lot 2 of said Tract 710; thence
southerly along said prolongation to the north-
easterly corner of said Lot 2, being the point of
beginning.
Parcel 4:
Lots 12 througY, 22 inclusive, in Block 5 of East
Newport, in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 3, Page 37 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office
of the county recorder of said county.
• as shown on Districting Map No. 10, referred to in Section 20.06.030
of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by such reference made a

part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby rezoned from the
R -2, R -3 and R -4 Districts to,the Open Space District, and said
Districting Map No. 10 is hereby amended to show this zoning
• change.
SECTION 2. The Community Development Director of the
City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to
change Districting Map No. 10 so as to show the zoning changes
described in Section 1 hereof, and, as said Districting Map
shall have been so amended, the same shall be in full force and
effect and be a part of Title 20 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code.
SECTION 3, This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
• 11th day of p=eh. , 1974, and was adopted on the
25th day of March 1974, by the following vote, to
wit:
