AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
REZONING PROPERTY AND AMENDING DISTRICTING
MAP NOS. 22, 22 -A AND 25
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The following described real property in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
to wit:
That portion of Lot 172 in Block 1 of Irvine's
Subdivision, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record
Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northeasterly terminus of that
certain course in the existing boundary line of
the City of Newport Beach as established by the
"Superior Avenue - Hospital Road Annexation No. 74 ",
described therein as having a bearing and distance
of "North 39 °41'15" East, 314.29 feet ", said north-
easterly terminus being also the most westerly
corner of Parcel 2 as shown on a map filed in
Book 1, page 35 of Parcel Maps, records of said
• Orange County; thence along said existing boundary
line, being also the southerly line of said
Parcel 2, South 89 °45135" East, 470.86 feet to
the most southerly corner of Lot B as shown on a
map filed in Book 9, page 19 of Parcel Maps,
records of said Orange County, being also an
angle point in the existing boundary line of the
City of Newport Beach, as described in Annexation
No. 58 to the City of Newport Beach; thence along
the boundary of said Annexation No. 58, being also
the southwesterly line of said Lot B, North 50 000'
19" West, 362.00 feet to the most westerly corner
of said Lot B, being also an angle point in the
boundary of said Annexation No. 58, and being also
a point in the centerline of Superior Avenue as
shown on said map filed in Book 1, page 35 of
Parcel Maps; thence leaving said existing boundary
line and along said centerline of Superior Avenue,
being also the northwesterly line of said Parcel 2,
South 39 059'41" West, 301.12 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING,
as shown on District Map Nos. 22, 22 -A and 25, referred to in
Section 20.06.030 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, and by
• such reference made a part of Title 20 of said Code, is hereby
rezoned from the Unclassified District to the A -P District, and
said Districting Map Nos. 22, 22 -A and 25 are hereby amended to
show this zoning change.

SECTION 2. The Community Development Director of
the City of Newport Beach is hereby instructed and directed to
change Districting Map Nos. 22, 22 -A and 25 so as to show the
zoning changes described in Section 1 hereof, and, as said
Districting Maps shall have been so amended, the same shall
be in full force and effect and be a part of Title 20 of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published once
in the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the
28th day of May 1974, and was adopted on the
10th day of June 1974, by the following vote, to
wit:
• AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Ryckoff,
Dostal, McInnis, Kuehn, Barrett, Store
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None
