AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
ADDING SECTION 12.12.060 TO THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH A PARKING
PERMIT SYSTEM FOR THE PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY
CITY PARKING LOT
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.12.060 is added to the Newport .
Beach Municipal Code to read:
"12.12.060 Pacific Coast Highway Parking Lot --
Permit. It shall be unlawful for any person to park a
vehicle in the Pacific Coast Highway Parking Lot, located
on the northwest corner of Pacific Coast Highway and
Newport Boulevard, without first obtaining a current
valid parking permit issued by the Finance Director,
which permit shall cover the period from October 1 to
September 30 of each year, payable based on the following

SECTI0N'2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
