AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING SECTION 12.24.070 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH A SPEED
LIMIT ON SPYGLASS HILL ROAD
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12.24.070 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read:
"12.24.070 Prima Facie Speed Limit -- Forty Miles
Per Hour. The prima facie speed limit on the following
named streets or part thereof shall be forty miles per
hour:
Bristol Street from Jamboree Road to MacArthur
Boulevard.
Dover Drive from West Coast Highway to Westcliff
Drive.
Eastbluff Drive from Bixia Street northerly to
Jamboree Road.
San Joaquin Hills Road between Marguerite Avenue
and MacArthur Boulevard.
San Miguel Drive between Ford Road and San Joa-
quin Hills Road.
Birch Street from Bristol Street to Jamboree
Boulevard.
Spyglass Hill Road."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption.
This ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 22nd
(lay of January 1979, and was adopted on the 12th
day of February 1979, by the following vote, to wit:
