• AN ORDINANCE OF CITY OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH AMENDING CHAPTER 6.04.055 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL RESTRICTING THE HOURS OF
OPERATION OF MECHANICAL BLOWERS
Section 1. Chapter 6.04.055 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is hereby amended as follows:.
C. VIOLATIONS:
i. Any person who uses a mechanical blower and
causes or permits cuttings, refuse or debris
swept or blown by the mechanical blower to be
left in places contrary to the provisions of
subsection B. hereof is guilty of an
infraction.
ii. Any person who operates any mechanical blower
between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
shall be guilty of an infraction.
• Section 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
the official newspaper of the City, and the same shall be
effective 30 days after the date of its adoption.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on
