• AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AMENDING CHAPTER 12.40.030 OF THE NEWPORT
BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING POSTING
REQUIREMENTS FOR TOWING VEHICLES FROM PRIVATE
PROPERTY
SECTION 1. Section 12.40.030 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
Section 12.40.030 Parking on Private Property.
No person shall park a vehicle in a private driveway or
on private property without the direct or implied consent of the
owner or person in lawful possession of such driveway or
property.
The owner or person in lawful possession of private
property, other than residential property of less than ten (10)
units, who causes illegally parked vehicles to be removed or
stored shall have an attendant or agent
