AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING SECTION 5.12.320E OF THE
• NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO
DRIVER'S PERMIT /TERM RENEWAL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The provisions of Section 5.12.320E of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
E. Term - Renewal. All driver's permits shall expire
on the last day of the twelfth (12th) month following its
issuance. Applications for renewal shall be made with the
License Supervisor on or before the first day of the month in
which the permit expires. The fee for renewal made within the
prescribed period shall be as established by Resolution of the
City Council.
Section 2: All other provisions of Section 5.12.320
shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3: The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall
attest to the passage of this Ordinance. The City Clerk shall
cause the same to be published once in the official newspaper
• within fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
Section 4: This Ordinance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on
the 8th day of June , 1987, and adopted on the 22nd day
of June , 1987, by the following vote, to -wit:
