AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADDING SECTION 12.66.062 TO THE
NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE FOR
APPLICATION OF VEHICLE CODE TO PRIVATE STREETS IN
THE BELCOURT DEVELOPMENT,
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1: Section 12.66.062 is added to the Newport
Beach Municipal Code to read as follows:
"Section 12.66.062. Application of
Vehicle Code to Private Roads in the
Belcourt Development.
The provisions of the California Vehicle
Code shall apply to the following
private streets in the Harbor Pointe
IVresidential development in the City of
Newport Beach:
Bayridge Drive
Hartford Drive
Chesterfield
Haverfield
Woodburne
Westport
Seaborough
Bradbury
Hillsdale Drive
Belcourt Drive North
Leesbury Court
• Cheshire Court
Weymouth Court
Barrenger Court

Belcourt Drive South
Huntington Court
Weybridge Court
Bexley Drive
Rockingham Road
Northampton Court
Southampton Court."
Section 2: The City Clerk shall cause the same to be
published once in the official newspaper within fifteen (15) days
after its adoption.
Section 3: This Ordinance was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on
the 9th day of May, 1988, and adopted on the 23rd day of May,
1988, by the following vote, to -wit:

Cox, Hart, Maurer, Plummer,
Sansone, Strauss, Turner
