AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADDING SECTION 5.32.035 TO THE
NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO
PROHIBITION OF DANCING DURING CERTAIN HOURS.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1: Section 5.32.035 is hereby added to the Newport
Beach Municipal Code to read as follows:
Section 5.32.035 - Restricted Hours of Operation
No person shall operate, or permit the operation of, a
cafe dance or dance hall between the .hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00
a.m.
Section 2: This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach held on the 14th
day of August, 1989, and adopted on the 28th day of August ,
1989, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEMBERS TURNER, SANSONE,
PLUMMER, STRAUSS, HART, COX, WATT
NOES, COUNCILMEMBERS NONE
ABSENT COUNCILMEMBERS NONE
