• ORDINANCE NO. 99 -?s <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING <br />SECTION 12.24.030 OF THE NEWPORT <br />BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING <br />INCREASING STATE SPEED LIMITS <br />The City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby ordain as follows: <br />Section 12.24.030, "Prima Facie Speed Limit - Thirty Miles Per Hour', is <br />repealed and replaced to read as follows: <br />Section 12.24.030, Prima Facie Speed Limit - Thirty Miles <br />Per Hour. <br />The prima facie speed limit on the following named streets <br />or parts thereof shall be thirty (30) miles per hour: <br />• Avocado Avenue from Waterfront Drive to East Coast <br />Highway. <br />Cliff Drive from Riverside Avenue to Dover Drive. <br />Dover Drive East from Westcliff Drive to Irvine Avenue. <br />Mariners Drive from Dover Drive to End of Street West. <br />Newport Boulevard from Finley Avenue to 21st Street. <br />Old Newport Boulevard from West Coast Highway northerly <br />to15th Street. <br />Santa Isabel Avenue from Irvine Avenue to Tustin Avenue. <br />Santiago Drive from Irvine Avenue to Tustin Avenue. <br />Westminster Avenue from Old Newport Boulevard to 15th <br />Street. <br />15th Street from Irvine Avenue to St. James Road. <br />This Ordinance shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City, and <br />the same shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption. <br />This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />Citxr of Newport Beach held on the 27th day of September, 1999, and adopted on the <br />25t day of October, 1999, by the following vote, to wit: <br />• <br />
