RESOLUTION NO. 2
A RESOLUTION of the BoarJof Trustees of the City of
Neo.port Beach, declaring it to be intention of the said Board
to close, in past, certain portions of the Strand in said City;
describing said work or improvement, and specifying the ex- ierior
boundaries of the district of land affected hereby.
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the City of Newport Beach
does hereby resolved( and declare:
RESOLVED -- First: That the public interest and
convenience of the City of Newport Beach require, and that it
is the intention of the Board of Trustees of said City to order
the following named public work or improvement to be done, to wit:
To close, abandon and vacate, for street purposes,
certain portions of The Strand in said City, and that the
closure, abandonment and vacation of said portions of said
The Strand is the work or improvement to be done under this
resolution bf, intention. That the said portion of said The
Stand are described as follows, to wit:
All of that portion of the street called "The Strand,"
in said City, described as follows, to wit:
Commencing at the South- easterly corner of Fernando
Street and The Strand; running thence Northerly along the
prolongation of the Easterly line of Fernando Street
to a point in a Northerly line of The Strand; thence
Easterly along said line 90 feet to a point; thence Southerly
in a straight line, to a point in the Southerly line of
The Strand, distant 90 feet Easterly from the South - easterly
corner of The Strand and Fernando Street; thence Westerly
along the Southerly line of The Strand, to the point of
beginning.
RESOLVED -- Second: That the exterior boundaries of
the district of land to be affected by said wiork or improvement
are hereby specified and described as follows, to wit:
Commencing at the South - easterly corner of Fernando.
Street and The Strand; running thence Easterly along the
Southerly line of The Strand, to the North - easterly corner
of Lot 17 of the Subdivision of Block C of the Newport Bay
Tract; thence Southerly along the Easterly boundary of
said Lot 17, to the South - easterly corner thereof; thence
Westerly, along the Southerly boundary of Lots 17, 16, 15
and 14, of said Block C, to the Easterly line of Fernando
Street; thence Northerly to the point of beginning.

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to
the records of the City of Newport Beach filed and main-
tained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 2
was duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California,
at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 19 day of
August , 19 07 , by the following vote,
