1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />COPY RESOLUTION NO. 78 <br />RESOLUTION OF ABANDONMENT <br />COPY <br />Whereaq, the City of Newport Beach has acquired a perpetual <br />right of way for ordinary street and highway purposes, and a temp- <br />orary right of way for the construction and maintenance of railroa <br />tracks over and upon a strip of land 40 ft. in width and extending <br />from Central Avenue in the City of Newport Beach at or near the <br />termination of "F" Street to certain lands acquired by the City of <br />Newport Beach, and which lands are described as Parcel 2 in the <br />instrument by which the same are acquired, and <br />Whereas, the public interest and the public convenience no <br />longer requires and does not now require the making of the impr9v <br />ment described in Resolution of Intention No. 74 of the City of <br />Newport Beach, adopted on the 9th day of April, 1917, to wit: <br />the widening, opening and extending of Central Avenue in the City <br />of Newport Beach; <br />Now therefore, be it resolved that all proceedings hereto- <br />fore taken under and in pursuance of Resolution of Intention No. <br />and the said Resolution be and the same is hereby annuled, abro- <br />gated, and set aside, and all proceedings thereby contemplated and <br />to be hereafter taken thereunder be and the same are hereby abando <br />The above and foregoing Resolution passed at a regular meet <br />ing of the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach on the <br />21st day of May, 1917, by the following vote: <br />Ayes, Trustees; Glenn Helms, Geo.
