RESOLUTION OF ABANDONMENT
COPY
Whereaq, the City of Newport Beach has acquired a perpetual
right of way for ordinary street and highway purposes, and a temp-
orary right of way for the construction and maintenance of railroa
tracks over and upon a strip of land 40 ft. in width and extending
from Central Avenue in the City of Newport Beach at or near the
termination of "F" Street to certain lands acquired by the City of
Newport Beach, and which lands are described as Parcel 2 in the
instrument by which the same are acquired, and
Whereas, the public interest and the public convenience no
longer requires and does not now require the making of the impr9v
ment described in Resolution of Intention No. 74 of the City of
Newport Beach, adopted on the 9th day of April, 1917, to wit:
the widening, opening and extending of Central Avenue in the City
of Newport Beach;
Now therefore, be it resolved that all proceedings hereto-
fore taken under and in pursuance of Resolution of Intention No.
and the said Resolution be and the same is hereby annuled, abro-
gated, and set aside, and all proceedings thereby contemplated and
to be hereafter taken thereunder be and the same are hereby abando
The above and foregoing Resolution passed at a regular meet
ing of the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach on the
21st day of May, 1917, by the following vote:
Ayes, Trustees; Glenn Helms, Geo. P. Wilson, R. A. Robinson,
J. C. McCain
Noes, Trustees; None
Absent, Trustees; None
Claude M. Crego, Clerk
