PASSED BY THE SAID BOARD ON THE 1st. DAY OF JULY, 1918.

The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do
•

resolve as follows:
•

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach
6
did on the ist. day of July, 1918, duly adopt Resolution No.99,
7
entitled, "A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of
8
Newport Beach, declaring their intention to improve certain
9
portions of Central Avenue and other streets, alleys, and rights
10
of way within the said City, and also certain portions of rights
11
of way and property owned by said City, situated outsfde of and
12
adjacent to the corporate boundary lines of said City, forming an
13
assessrr,ent district of lands within the said City to be benefited
14
by and to pay the costs and expenses of said proposed improvements
15
and determining that bonds shall be issued to represent the costs
16
thereof, under the Improvement Act of 1911."

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees have been unable to procure
18
the execution of a contract for the doing of the work and the
19
construction of the improvement contemplated by Resolution No.99,
20
and it appears to be for the best interest of the City of Newport
21
Beach to vacate and abandon all proceedings had and contemplated
22
under and by said Resolution No. 99:

NOt✓, THEREFORE, be it resolved that all proceedinga here-
24
fore taken under and in pursuance of Resolution of Intention
25
No. 99, passed by the Board of Trustees of said City on the 1st.
26
day of July, 1918, and the said Resolution No. 99 be and the
27
same is hereby annuled, abrogated and set aside, and all proceedir
•
28
thereby contemplated and which were taken in pursuance of said
•
29
Resolution No. 99 be and the same are hereby abandoned.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution, being
Resolution No. 114 was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
by the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach at a
regular meeting of said Board held on the 4th, day of August,
1919,and that the same was passed by the following vote, to wit:

L.S. °Vilkinson.
