L <br />2 <br />• 3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 140. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT <br />BEACH AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CEMENT <br />PIPE SANITARY SEWERS, REINFORCED CONCRETE SEPTIC TANK, REIN- <br />FORCED CONCRETE PUMPING STATIONS, SLUDGE BED AND THE APPURTEN- <br />ANCES TO SAID WORK, BEING ALL OF THE WORK OR IMPROVEMENT CALLED <br />FOR AND DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION NO. 133 OF THE SAID BOARD OF <br />TRUSTEES. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach <br />did on the 15th day of September, 1920, duly adopt a resolution, <br />being Resolution No. 136 ordering that all of the cement pipe <br />sanitary sewers described in Resolution No. 133 of said Board <br />of Trustees adopted July 6th, 1920, being the resolution of <br />Intention for the construction of said sewers, together with <br />all of the appurtenances thereto, the concrete septic tank, <br />the reinforeced concrete pumping station therein designated as <br />pumping station No. 1, the sludge bed, the reinforced concrete <br />pumping station therein designated as pumping station No. 2, <br />the reinforced concrete pumping station therein designated as <br />pumping station No. 3, together with all buildings, equipment <br />and appurtenances for the said work mentioned or described in <br />said Resolution No. 133, be constructed, which said Resolution <br />No. 133 is hereby referred to for a description of the said <br />proposed work or improvement and is herebyyexpressly adopted <br />and made a part of this resolution the same as though fully <br />set forth herein. And said Board of Trustees determined in <br />said Resolution of Intention No. 133 that the aforesaid work <br />or improvement in the opinion of the said Board of Trustees is <br />of more than local or ordinary public benefit and said Board of <br />Trustees then determined that the district which it, in said <br />Resolution of Intention declared to be the district to be <br />assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said work is the <br />district within the said City of Newport Beach benefited by <br />said work or improvement and to be assessed to pay the costs <br />-1- <br />
