ANk A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of • Newport Beach,.declaring their intention to improve certain portions of F Street and the first alley north- crly of Aentral Avenue from F Street to I Street, and I Street, and the first alley,northcrly of Central Eve - nue from I Street to J Street, and J Street, and the first allcy.northerly of Central Avenue from J Street to Ii Street, and K Street, and the first alley norther- ly of Central Avenue from K Street to L Street, within said city, forming an assessment district of land with- in the said city, to be benefited by and to pay the costs and expenses of said proposed improvements, and determining that bonds shall be issued to represent the cost thereof. The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Reach do re- solve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience require, and it is the intontien of the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach to order the following work to be done, to —wit: That cement pipe sanitary sewers be constructed in the following locations: 'In F.Street from the manhole already constructed at the in- tcrsection of thu center line of F Street and a line 10 feet south- erly of and parallel !±pith the northerly line of Central Avenue, thence northerly to the riestcrly prolongation of the center line of tho first alley northerly of Central Avenue; And in the first alley northerly of Central Avenue from the center line of F Street to a line which is 5 feet westerly of and parallel with the �rsterly line of I Street. • And in I Street from the manhole already constructed wt the — 1 — 6 • is • r intersection of the center line of I Street and a line which is 20 feet southerly of and parallel with the northerly line of Central Avenue, thence northerly to a line which is 246 feet northerly of the manhole already constructed at the intersection of Central Avenue and I Street. And in the first alley northerly of Central Avenue from the center line of I Street to a line which is 5 feet westerly of and parallel with the westerly line of J Street. And in J Street from the manhole already constructed at the intersection of the center line of J Street, and a line which is 20 feet southerly of and parallel with the northerly line of Central Avenue, thence northerly to the center line of the first alley northerly of Central Avenue; And in the first alley northerly of Central Avenue from the center line of J Street to a line which is 5 feet. westerly of and parallel with the westerly line of K Street. And in K Street from the manhole already constructed at the intersection of the center line of K Street, and a line which is 20 feet southerly of and parallel with the northerly line of Central Avenue, thence northerly to the center line of the first alley northerly of Central Avenue. And in the first alley northerly of Central Avenue from the center line of K Street to a line which is 5 feet westerly of and parallel with the westerly line of L Street. All of the aforesaid cement pipe sanitary sewers shall be constructed across all street and alley intersections or portions thereof between the points, on the grades, at the elev':tions and along the .lines of said scvicrs, together with manholes,, cast iron frames and covers, and other appurtenances, all as shown upon the — 2 — • • 0 plans and profiles of said sewers Numbered 262 and 263, adopted by Resolution No. 159, and plans ?lumbered 233, 234, 235 and 236, adopted by Resolution No. 132 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Reach, and on file in the office of the City Engineer, of said city; and in further accordance with srecifi.- cations moo. 27 adopted by Resolution No. 97, as said specifications No. .27 arc amended by Resolution No. 131 of the Board of Trusteee of said city, and on file in the office :,f the City Clerk, of said city. Reference is hereby trade to said plans and specifications for a more eotttplate and particular description of said work. Section 2-. That the said contemplated i7ork or improvement in the opinion of said Board of Trustees is of more than local or ordii.ary public benefit, and -the said Doard of Trustees make the expcnbe of said work or improvLinent chargeable upon the District licreinufter dcscrib- :ed, and deolares-that tiro District i.n said City of Newport. Beach benefited by said Mork or improv.ement is described as folloae: Beginning at the northeast cor.ner of Lut 7, Block 28, of a.mup of the Fastsidc addition to t_:e Balboa, Tract, as recorded in mie- celianeous maps . book 4, pago 20, Records of Orange County, California, thence westerly along ti_e southerly line of My Avgnuc, as s2.id Say Avenue is laid out and shown upon a map of the aforesaid Eastside addition to the Balboa Tract to the northwest cornor of Lot 11 Block 23, of •thc uferesaid map of tiie Eastside additic.il to the Dulbloa Tract, thence southcnstar.ly in a direct line to the southwest corner of -F Street and Bay Avenue, thence southerly along. tLe Westerly line — 3 — a � - vet • • • • • of F Street, and along the southerly prolongation.of the i.7estorly line .;f F Street to a line which is 34 foot southerly of and parallel with the northerly line of that portion of Central Avenue lying easterly of G Street, thence easterly along the westerly prolongation of a line which is 34 feet southerly of and parallel with the northerly line of that portion of Central Avenue lying easterly of G Street and along said line which is 34 feet southerly of and Parallel with the northerly line of Contral Avenue lying easterly of G Street, to its inter- section with.the southerly prolongation of the westerly line of L Street, thence northerly along the southerly prolongation of the westerly line of L Street, and along the westerly line .f L Street to the northeast corner of Lot 7., Block 28, of the aforesaid map of the Rast.side addition to the Balboa Tract, the place of beginning, excepting therefrom any lands forming any Fart of any 1:ublic street or alley. For further identification of said assessment district refer --- once is hereby rude to map thereof designated as Plan Number 264, assessment district for the improvement of the first alley northerly of. Central Avenue and ether streets and alleys aprroved by the Board .of Trustees of the said city on the 20th day of uarch, 19221, and rife now on file in the office of4City Clerk on rrhich said ertericr boundaries of said district are indicated by red border lines. Section 3. It is hereby determined and notice is hereby riven, that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments and bear interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided by the• Improvement Bond Act of 1915, the last installment of - 4 - which bonds shall mature fourteen years from the 2nd day of July next succeeding nine months from their date. Section 4. Except as hereinbafcre stated, all the proceedings for the aforesaid work and improvements bhall be had and taken undor and in accordance rith the provisions of an Act of the Laisla- ture of the State of California known and doei6natod as the "In:- pr:,vement Act of 1911" as amended. Section 5.
