A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH CONFIRMING THE ASSESS-
MENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF OCEAN BOULEVARD
AND CERTAIN OTHER STREETS, AVENUES AND ALLEYS
IN TRACT NO. 518, WITHIN SAID CITY.

WHEREAS, Pursuant to statute the Superintendent of
.
Streets of the City of Newport Beach made and filed with the City
Clerk of said City, on the 14th day of August, 1924, his assess-
ment and diagram for the improvement of certain portions of Ocean
Boulevard and certain other streets, avenues and alleys in Tract
No. 518, within said City,:as described in Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 273, passed by the Board of Trustees of said City on the
3d day of December, 1923, and
WHEREAS, Notice was duly given in the manner and form
required by law for all interested persons to appear before the
Board of Trustees in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, at
the hour of 7:30 o'clock, P. M. of Monday, the 1st day of Sep-
tember, 1924, and show cause why the said Board of Trustees should
not confirm said assessment, and
WHEREAS, All interested persons having appeared before
t4is Board of Trustees, and having been given full opportunity to
show cause why said assessment should not be confirmed and all
objections presented having been heard and fully considered, now
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the City.of
Newport Beach as follows:
That rho cause has been shown why the said Assessment
should not be confirmed;
THEREFORE, The Board of Trustees of the City of
Newport Beach does hereby approve and confirm the said assessment,

• BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Streets
of said City of Newport Beach, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to attach a warrant to said assessment and record the same
in the manner and form required by law and thereafter to deliver
the same to the Contractor or its assignee
I hereby certify that.the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed by the Board of Trustees of the City
of Newport Beach on the day of September, 1924, by the follow-
ing vote, to -wit:
