• A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH CONFIRMING THE ASSESS-
MENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN PORTIONS
OF 36th STREET AND FINLEY AVENUE. IN SAID CITY.

WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, the Superintendent of
Streets of the City of Newport Beach made and filed with the City
Clerk of said City on the 18th day of September, 1934, his
assessment and diagram for the improvement of certain portions of
36th Street and Finley.-Avenue in said City, as directed in Res-
olution of Intention No. 366, passed by the Board of Trustees of
said City on the 15th day of October, 1933; and
WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form
required by law for all interested persons to appear before the
Board of Trustees in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at the
hour of 7;30 o'clock, P.M. of Monday, October 6th, 1934, and show
cause why the said Board of Trustees should not confirm said.l.
assessment; and
WHEREAS, all interested persons having appeared before
the Board of Trustees and having been given ,&11 opportunity to
show cause why said assessment should not be confirmed, and all
objections presented having been heard and fully considered, now
BE IT RESOLVED by the said Board of Trustees of the City
of Newport Beach as follows:
That no cause has been shown why the said assessment
should not be confirmed;
•� THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport
Beach does hereby approve and confirm the said assessment, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Streets

'directed to attach a warrant to said assessment and record the same
