A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Newport Beach vacating, abandoning and closing
up a public street in said city.
"hereas, the Board of Trustees of the city of Newport
Beach, at a meeting thereof held on the day of 14Y.1- , 1924,
duly.pa -sed and adopted its Resolution of Intention to order that
"L" Street, a public street in the city of Newport Beech, be vacatr
ed,abandoned,and closed up, prescribing the work to be done, de-
termining that no land was necessary therefor, and that no district
was to be assessed to pay the damages, costs or expenses thereof;
Whereas, the Street Superintendent thereupon duly posted
and published notices of public work in the manner and form,at the
places, end for the time provided by law;
Whereas, after due notice and at the time and place fixed
the Board of Trustees duly overruled and denied all protests and
objections, filed or presented, and having now acquired jurisdict
to order the work and improvement done;
Now therefore,the Board of Trustees of the city of Ne7por
Beach do resolve as follows:
(1) The pronosed work is for closing up a street and th:t
it appears no assessment is necessary, and no commissioners need be
appointed to assess benefits and damages.
(2) The public inter-st a d convenience requires it to
be done, and the Board of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach
hereby orders that "L" Street, a public street of the city of New-
port Beach, be vacated, abandoned and closed up, and that t:e said
"L" Street, so vacated, abandoned and closed up, contains and em-
braces the following described land:

of Central !,venue and particularly des=ribed as
follows: all that portion of Ldr 9 of Section 35

shoves on a map recorded in Book 3, page 7 of Piis --
cellaneous Piap3, records of Orange County,Cali-
fornia, lying between the east line of said Lct 9
and the east lines of blocks 28 and "," of the
Eastside addition to the balboa '?ract, as shown on
a map recorded in Book 4, page 20 of I:iiscellaneous
P,Iaps, records of Orange County,California, and said
lines extended. - - --
