J � V . A Resolution of the city, of Newport Beach amending Section 3 of Resolution No. 319 of said city, and directing the Presin.ent of the Board of Trustees to officially sign Resolution No. 319. The Board.of.Trustees of the city of Newport Beach do re�dve as follows: Resolved, that Section 3 of Resolution No. 319 ofthe city of Newport Beach be amended so as to read as follows: Section 3. The form of said bonds and interest coupons to be attach- ed thereto shall be as follows: MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 4 OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH $1,000.00 No. MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 4 OF TRH' CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH hereby acknowledges its indebtedness to the holder of this bond in the sum of $1,000.00 and agrees to pay said sum at the office of the Treasurer of the city of Newport Beach in said city, County of Orange, State of California, on the first day of March, 18 , together with interest thereon at the rate of six per cent. per annum from t1B date of this bond until the sum of $1,000.00 has been well and truly paid, the interest to be paid semi- annually on the first day of September and the first day of March ih each year. This bond is issued in pursuance of an Act of the Legis- lature cf the State of California, entitled: "An act to provide for the formation of districts within municipalities for the ac- quisition or construction of public improvements, works, and public -1 ot7 • 1 2 • 3 4 5 6 7 B 9 to 11. Also pursuant to Resolution No. 319 Of said city direct- ing the issue hereof, and theissuance and sale of this bond hgs been duly authorized by the vote of two- thirds and m ore of all the voters voting at an election held within the municipal improvement district on the 2nd day of February, 1925, , which election was duly called, and held by Ordinance No. 271 of the city of Newport Beach; duly passed and published. This bond is issued for the purpose of the acquisition of a certain right of way for public street purposes in the Muni- cipal Improvement District and upon which to construct and maintain a public street. It is hereby certified that all conditions, acts, and things essential to the validity ofthis bond have happened,been done and taken place and thatall requirements of the law and of the con- stitution relating to the issue hereof have been fully complied with by the proper bodies, officers, and persons, and that theissue here- of is duly authorized, and for a public improvement which the city ofNewport Beach is authorized by law to acquire. And that provision has been made for the collection of an annual tax sufficient to pay the interest on this bond as it falls due, and a sinking fund has been duly constitited to pay the prin- cipal at maturity, and that the debt hereby created and this bond are within every debt and other limit prescribed by law and the said act, and by the constitution. Section 2. The President of the Board of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach is hereby directed—and required to officially sign as such Resolution No. 319 of the city of Newport Beach. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and passel by the Board of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of March,1925, by the vote of the following named members thereof: Ayes, Trustees Noes, Trustees ;s rh x, .
