RESOLUTION NO. 339
A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the
City of Newport Beach fixing the r ate per centum
and levying a tax upon all of the taxable property
within the city of Newport Beach which is taxable
therein for municipalpurposes.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do
resolve and declare as follo,•rs:
1st. Resolved, that there be and is hereby levied
upon all of the taxable property within the City of Fewport Beach,
which is taxable therein for municipal purposes, a tax for tle
purpose of raising the necessary money with which to carry on the
various departments of the City of Newport Beach for the current
fiscal year.
2nd. Resolved, that the rate per centum of the tax
hereinafter levied shall be and is hereby fixed at the sum of

3rd. Resolved, that in ad�:ition to all other t• xes
herein levied for municipal purposes, there is hereby levied on al
of the taxable property within the city of Ne-.:port Beach a tax for
the purpose of raising the necessary and sufficient money to pay
the annual interest on all issued outstanding and unpaid municipal
bonds of the city of Newport Beach, and also such part of the -:ri .
cipal thereof as shall become due before the time for fixinP the
next geneal tax levy in and for said city,the rate of the tax

hereby levied for said purpose is fixed at--A-G--cents on each one
hundred dollars of value, and the same shall be collected at the
same time and in the same manner as all other municipaltaxes are
collected., xcepting upon property annexed at election held the 4L
day of ' , 192_ and known as Corona Del Mar.,
4th. Resolved / that in addition to all other taxes)
herein levied there is hereby levied on all the taxable property }
within the city of Newport Beach a tax of fifteen cents on each
one hundred dollars for advertising purposes, pursuant to the
provisions of Ordinance No. 144 submitted to and carried by a
majority of the votes of allthe voters voting at an election held
for the purpose of votin for or againstsaid Ordinance on the
24th day of September,1918.
5th. Resolved, that in addition to all other taxes
herein levied, there is hereby levied on,all of the taxable proper
within Municipal Improvement District No. 1 of the city of Newport
Beach a tax of scents on each $100.00 of assessed valuation for
the payment of semi - annual interest on and the redemption of the
bonds of said district.
6th. Resolved, that in addition to all other taxes
herein levied, there is hereby levied on all of the taxable prop-
erty within Municipal Improvement District No. 2 of the city of
Newport Beach a tax of 4.0- cents on each 4,100.00 of assessed valua-
tion for the payment of semi- annual interest on and the redemption
of the bonds of said district.
7th. Resolved,that in addition to all other taxes
herein levied, there is hereby levied on all of the taxable.. prop-
erty within Municipal Improvement District No. 3 of the city of

The above and foregoing Resolution was passed, adopted
and approved by the Board of Trustees of the city
� of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of Sep-
tember, 1925, by the following vote:
