RESOLUTION NO..j �
A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the city of
Newport Beach declaring its intention to order a portion of a
certain street in said city vacated, abandoned and closed.
The Board of Trustees of the city of Newport Beach do
resolve, determine and declare as follows:
Section 1.
The public interest and also the pu bhc convenience re-
quires that a certain portion of Bay View Avenue, a public street
in thecity of Newport Beach, be closed, vacated and abandoned.
Section 2.
The work to be done and improvement to be made is the
vacation, abandonment and closing up of allthat prtion of Bay
View Avenue, as said Bay View Avenue is shown and laid out upon
a map of Balboa Bayside Tract, as recorded in Miscellaneoz Plops,
Book 4, page 78, records of Orange County, California, described
as beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 17, of Block. 2 of
the aforesaid Balboa Bayside Tract, whio h southwest corner of
said Lot 17 is also the northeast corner of Bay View Avenue add
Bay Avenue;thence North 5 deg. 5' 30" 'Nest along the easterly
line of mid Bay View Avenue, which line is alsothe westerly line
of the aforesaid Lot 17, a distance of 48.16 feet to a point;
thence south 16 deg. 56' West a distance of 51.95 feet to a point;
thence North 84 deg. 541 30 ° East a distance of 19.47 feet to they
place of beginning.
Section 3.
That it is not necessary to take any land for the
closing of said portion ofBay View Avenue and no land will be
affected by saYl improvement or required to be assessed to pay
any damages, costs or expense thereof.

Section 4.
No commissioners are required to be appointed to assess
benefits or damages.
Section 5,
The Street Superintendent shall cause to be posted and
published the notice required by law.
The above and foregoing Resolution No.S�� was passed
and adopted by the Board of Trustees of thecity of Newport Beach
at a meeting thereof held the 26th day of April, 1926, by the
following vote:
Ayes, Trustees
Noes Trustees
Absent, Trustees
The above and foregoing Resolution Xo. ?/%S'is hereby
