RESOLUTION- NO.k2,.
A Resolution of the Board of Tpatees of the City
of Newport Beach adopting plans and specifications
for construction of Jetties and directing the City
Clerk to advertise for bids.
V
The Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That the plans,profiles,cross- sections and detail drawings
submitted by the City Engineer for the Construction of Jetties,repairing
the present.west jetty and the construction of revetments,numbered
Plans No.338,339,34003410342 and 343 and the Instructions to bidders
and specifications for said work submitted by said City Engineer,be
and the same are hereby adopted as the plans,instructions to bidders
and specifications for the doing of all of said work herein described,
and as more particularly shown and described in said plans and specifi-
cations.
SECTION 2.
That the City Clerk of said City be and he is hereby directed
to publish a notice inviting proposals for the aforesaid work,three
times in the Newport News,a weekly newspaper,printed,published and
circulated within said City and which is hereby designated for that
purpose. The notice shall state that all proposals or bids must be
accompanied by a check payable to the City certified by a responsible
bank,for an amount which shall not be less than five (5) per cent of
the aggregate of the bid or proposal. Said proposals to be received
up to the hour of 7.39 o'clock P.M. of Monday the 25the day of April,
1927.

port Beach do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution,being Reso-
lution No. 2 was regularly introduced and duly adopted by the Board
of Trusteeso a City of Newport Beach,signed by the President of said
Board and attested by the City Clerk all at a regular meeting of said
Board held on the 2Bth.day of March,1927 and that the same was passed
by the following vote,to wit:
