HomeMy WebLinkAbout428 - Coast Boulevard & Other ImprovementsRESOLUTION NO.� A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH CONFIRMING THE ASSESS - MENT FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF COAST BOULEVARD AND CERTAIN OTHER STREETS AND AVENUES IN CORONA DEL MAR, WITHIN SAID . CITY. - - - - - 0 - - - - - WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Newport Beaco made and filed with the City Clerk of said City, on the 11th day of May, 1927, his assessment and diagram for the improvement of certain portions of Coast Boulevard and certain other streets and avenues in Corona del Mar, within said City, as directed in Resolution of Intention No. 370, pasAed by the Board of Trustees of said City on the 15th day of March, 1926; and WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form required by law for all interested persons to appear before the Board of Trustees in the Council Chamber of said Board, in the City H4.1 at the hour of 7 :30 o'clock, P.M. of Tuesday, the 31st day of May, 1927, and show cause why said Board of Trustees should not confirm said assessment; and WHEREAS, all interested persons having appeared before this Board of Trustees, and having been given full opportunity to show cause why said assessment should not be oonfirmed,and all objections presented having been heard and fully considered; now BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach, as follows: That no cause has been shown why the said assessment • should not be confirmed; • THEREFORE, the Board of Trustees of the City of Newport Beach do hereby approve and confirm the said assessment; and - 1 - I n� P BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Superintendent of Streets of said City of Newport_ Beach be, and he is, hereby authorized and directed to attaoh a warrant to said assessment and record the same in the manner and form required by law, and there- after to deliver the same to the Contractor or his assignee.
