7 OF.NEWPORT BEACH CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF
COAST BOULEVARD AND OTHER STREETS IN CORONA
DEL MAR, WITHIN SAID CITY.

THEREAS, Pursuant to.statute, the Superintendent of
gtreets of the City of Newport Beach made and filed with the City
Clerk of said City, on the 15th day of December, 1927, his assess-
ment and diagram for the improvement of certain portions of Coast
Boulevard and other streets in Corona del Mar,,within said City,
as directed in Resolution of Intention No. 427, passed by the
Board of Trustees of said City on the 16th day of May, 1927; and
THEREAS, Notice vas duly given in the manner and form
required by law for all interested persons to appear before the
City Council in the Council Chamber of said Council, in the City
Hall., at the hour of 7:30 o'clock, P.U. of Yonday, the 2nd day of
January$ 1928, and show cause why said City Council should not
confirm said assessment; and
WHEREAS, all interested persons having appeared before
this City Council and having been given full opportunity to show
cause why said assessment should not be confirmed, and all
objections presented having been heard and fully considered; now
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, as follows;
That no cause has been shown why the said assessment
should not be confirmed;
THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach does hereby approve and confirm the said assessment; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Superintendent of
Streets of said City of Newport Beach be, and he is hereby
authorized and directed to attach a warrant to said assessment
and record the same in the manner and form required by law,

and thereafter to deliver the same to the Contractor or his
assignee.

was duly and regularly passed by the City Council of theCity of
