2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
• 3 NEWPORT BEACH, ADOPTING PLANS AIM SPECIFICATIONS
FUR THE DREDGING OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF NEWPORT
4 HARBOR.

It appearing to the City Council of the City of

Newport Beach that certain dredging in the harbor of Newport
7
Beach is now necessary to insure the safety of boats entering and
8
leaving said harbor.

NUW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the plans
10
and specifications for the dredging necessary to be done in said
11
harbor as prepared by R. L. Patterson, City Engineer, and sub -
12
mitted this 2nd day of April, 1929, be, and the same are hereby

adopted as and for the plans and specifications for the doing
14
Of said work in making said improvement:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Clerk
16
give a Notice to contractors inviting bids for the dredging of
17
said harbor in accordance with the plans and specifications
18
herein on file and as-provided by law, and that said notice be
19
published three (3) times in Newport News, a newspaper of
20
21 general circulation, printed, _published and circulated in the
City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution

25 was regularly introduced and passed by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
