S 9, . <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NEWPORT BEACH, CANCELLING A CERTAIN ERRONEOUS TAX <br />ASSESSIE14T ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY STANDING IN THE <br />NAME OF ONE F. M. STROBRIDGE. <br />WHEREAS, for the fiscal years 1927 -1928, and 1928— <br />1929, certain tax assessments were levied against the real proper <br />ty of one F. M. Strobridge, which said real property is known as <br />Parcel No. 8, containing 2.26 acres in Lot 1, Section 28, Town- <br />ship 6 South, Range 10 West (Island West of Central Avenue Bridge <br />and S. P. Ry.); and <br />WHEREAS, said F. M. Strobridge has not paid said <br />taxes nor has anyone else paid the same on said described real <br />property; and <br />WHEREAS, said real property above mentioned lies <br />without the corporate limits of the Oity of Newport Beach, and <br />Is therefore not taxable by the City of Newport Beach; and <br />WHEREAS, said real property above described has <br />not within the years above mentioned been within the corporate <br />limits of the City of Newport Beach and said tax assessment was <br />and is therefore erroneous and illegal; and <br />WHEREAS, the said F. M. 'St rob ridge ,..the' owner <br />of said real property, has requested the City Council of the CitS <br />of Newport Beach that said erroneous tax assessment be cancelled <br />as of record; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Attorney of the City of Newport <br />Beach has given his written consent to the cancellation of said <br />erroneous and illegal tax assessment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain <br />tax assessment levied against the property of F.
