185 <br />NEW BUSINESS. <br />:found o a resubdiv' he E1 Moro Tract <br />in West Newport, waand on motion of Councilman <br />Williamson ndellaw carried, the Map was <br />approved s its being checked by the City and City <br />correct. <br />This being the time and place appointed and noticed when and <br />where interested persons might actsar before the City Council and show RESOLUTION. NO, 578 <br />cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid Adopted 2/17/30 <br />assessments shown on the list thereof for the work done under Resolution Original Missing. <br />of Intention No. 503 passed on the 29th day of April, 1929. <br />No persons objecting or appearing to object or did object the <br />City Council proceeded to pass upon the question, and thereupon deter- <br />mined that the assessments sham upon the list thereof were and are <br />unpaid, and the aggregate amount in the'sum of $ 13,014.84, and thereupon <br />prescribed the denomination of the bonds and provided for the issuance <br />of the same in annual series, and directed the same to be issued to the <br />District Bond Company, the assignee of the Contractor. <br />' Thereupon Councilman Williamson introduced a Resolution <br />entitled: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT <br />BEACH, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET <br />IMPROVEMENT BONDS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br />NUMBER 503, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESS- <br />' MENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATIONS OF SUCH BONDS AND <br />PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE. <br />The Resolution was read, considered, designated RESOLUTION <br />NO. 578 and upon call of the roll passed by the following vote, to -wit: <br />AYES, Councilmen Hilmer, Claire, Ellsworth, Williamson, <br />Johnson. <br />NOES, Councilmen None. <br />ABSENT, Councilmen None. <br />City Engineer Patterson presented a communication from Griffit <br />any asking a 30 days extension of time on their contract for the <br />imp vement of Central Avenue, which was considered, and on motion o <br />Counc man Williamson seconded by Councilman Ellsworth and carrie the <br />30 days xtension was allowed. <br />ity Engineer Patterson also presanted a nermit fro the War <br />Department permission to dredge the entrance channel, a on motion <br />of Councilman aire seconded by Councilman Ellsworth an arried, the <br />permit was filed. <br />On mot of Councilman Williamson seconds y Councilman <br />Claire and carried, a two demands of R.
