;IHERIAS, the City Council of the City of Reaport
Beach, did in open session at a regular meeting thereof on the
7th day of April, 1930, publicly open, examine and declare all
sealed bids or proposals for doing the following work and inprove-
ment, hereinafter described under Resolution of Intention I,`�.
681 of the City of Her^port Beach.

SECTION 1.
That this Council hereby finds and declares that
the lowest, regular, respon-
sible bidder for the work hereinafter described and this Council
hereby awards the contract for the said wor to said "Q

For the installation of an ornamental street lighting
system on Central Avenue including King rerronite
Brackets (Desion ilo. 1120 —r-) equipped with Ding Lantern
Lighting Unit (_Dasign Fo. 10 —BPS, together pith Xing
Pole Tops, Oesiga go. Via. 126), and laj)s, wires, cables,

existing steel poles on Central Avenue; for the purpose
of street lighting in accordance with the speeifiectionz

The improvement o4 Central Avenue in the City of
Vew7ort Beach by the installation of certain King Ferronite
.rackets (Design 11o. 1120 -I) equipped with King Luminaire
Company's Cast Silicon - Aluminum Pendant Lantern Lighting Units
(Desir-n Do. 10-W) together with east iron ?pole top cross -arms
with pin insulators, Ding Pole Top, (Design Wo. A -126), lamps,

ires, cables, end other suitable and necessary appliance: on
the existing steel poles on Central Avenue for the purpose of
lighting said Central Avenue all as more particularly closer-Abed
in Resolution of Intention No. 581, passed any, adoated b; the
City Council of said City on the Ord day of lurch, 1930, and on
file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.

said Resolution of Intention No. 581 and to the plans and profiles,
boing Plan No. 371, Sheets 1 to 2 inclusive, on file in the office
of the City Engineer of said City and to specifications for the
said work adopter by the City Council on the Ord day of lurch, 1930,
and on Pilo in the office of the City Clerk of said City, and all
of said plans, profiles, and specifications heretofore anoroved
by the City Council of said City are incorporated herein and made a
part horoof, and reference is hereby made thereto for a morc par-
ticular description of the said work.
SECTION 2.
Said City Council has determined and deelare3 that the
contemplated work and improvement hereinbefore mentioned was, in
the opinion of the said City Council, of more than local or
ordinary public benefit and the said City Council has made the
expenses of the said work chargeable upon a districts. or the
par2lcular description of said assessment district, reference is
hereby made to the said resolution of Intention No. 581.

Said City Council has determined and declared
• that serial bonds to represent unpaid assossnents and bear
interest "at the rate of seven (7) per cent per annum rill be
issued in the manner provided by the " mprovouant Dond Act Of
19151' and amenamantN thereto, the last installment o' -rhich
bonds shall mPttire nine (9) years from the second (2nd) day
of July ncrt succeeding; ten (10) months from their date.

Reference is hereby made to the License Ao eent of
the ',.estern Lighting Company for the King Company's a.'erronite
Brackets, King Luminaire Company's Lantern Lighting Units and
King Pole Tops, dated i:arch 3, 1930, said License Agroemtnt
boing on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said City
of Zounort Beach.

All of the pork herein ordered except for the issuance
of bonds as heroinbefore stated shall be done and carried through
in accordance with the provisions of an Act of the Legislature
of the State of California, designated as the "improvement Act
of 191111, approved April 7, 19118 end all acts amendptor,y thereto.
The City Clerk of this Council is hereby directed to
publish a notice of this award twice in the "Ve:rport hews" a
weekly newspaper printed, published, circulated in said City and
hereby designated for that purpose (there being no daily ne•:rspaper
published in said City).
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Reexport Beach, California, this 7 day of April, 1930, bJ the
