RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wewport
Beach, California, that the public interest and convenience re-
quire the work hereinafter mentioned to be done and therefore
the said City Council hereby orders the following work to be
done and improvements to be made in the said City, to- 7it:-
The improvement of Kain Street and certain other
streets and avenues in the City of Newport Beach by the in-
stallation of certain cement concrete 13arbelite (Design Vo.
S- 160 —B) ornamental lighting posts, equipped with Heolite aio.
81 -4 lighting unit together with wires, cables, conduit, lamps
and other suitable and necessary appliances for the purpose
of lighting said iaain Street and certain other streets and
avenues, and also by the removal of certain existing cement
concrete light posts and the reconnecting of the existing cable
and conduit, all as more particularly described in Resolution of
Intention Ho• 683, passed and adopted by the City Council of said
City on the 17th day of Larch, 1930, and on file in the office of
the City Clerk of said City.
For further particulars reference is hereby made to
said ?resolution of Intention Igo. 683 and to the plans and profiles,
• being Plan No. 373, Sheets 1 to 2 inclusive, and Standard Plan
Pao. 1047, on file in the office of the City Engineer of said
• City and to specifications for the said work adopted by the City
Council on the 17th day of Larch, 1930, and on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City, and all of said plans, profiles,
and specifications heretofore approved by the City Council of
said City are incorporated herein and made a part hereo_2, and

reference is hereby made thereto for a more particular
description of the said work.

ideolite No. 81 -4 lighting unit, dated Uarch 17, 1930, said
License Agreement being on file in the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Uewport Beach.
All of the work herein ordered except for the issuance
of bonds as hereinbefore stated shall be done and carried through
in adcordance with the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of
the State of California, designated as the "Improvement Act of
1911 ", approved April 7, 1911, and all acts amendatory thereto.

The City Clerk of said City is hereby directed to post
conspicuously for five (6) days on or near the Council Chamber

door of said City Council in the manner and form required by lar.1,

paper published and ciroalated in the said City, and hereby
designated for that purpose by the City Council, a notice inviting
such proposals or bids for doing the said pork and referring
to the spocifications, plans, and license agreement on file.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of He".rport Beach at a regular meeting thereof hold
this 7 day of April, 1930, by the following vote, to -rit:-
