ORDER APPOINTING PERSON TO PREPARE
AND FURNISH SPECIFICATIONS
R. L. Patterson, a public officer of the City of
Newport Beach, California, to -wit: the City Engineer of said
City, is hereby appointed without compensation for the pur-
pose of preparing and furnishing specifications, maps, draw-
ings and descriptions in connection with the contemplated
acquisition of certain rights of way and property in the
City of Newport Beach and the County of Orange, California,
in the above entitled matter, as follows:
The acquisition of a five -acre parcel of land in
Section 20, Township 6 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. & M.,
lying northerly of the City boundary line of the City of
Newport Beach; also the acquisition of rights of way 20 feet
in width extending westerly from said five -acre parcel of
land a distance of approximately 1372 feet; also the acquisi-
tion of rights of way varying in width from 30 feet to 20 feet
and extending easterly and isoutherly from said five -acre par-
cel of land approximately 1200 feet as measured along the
southerly and westerly lines of said rights of way; also a
description of all property to be acquired, together with a
map or plat showing the same, the total sum of said estimated
expenses of said acquisitions (which expenses shall include
the estimated amount chargeable to the plaintiff in the con-
demnation action and the estimated incidental expenses of the
proceedings) and specifications necessary for the said acquisi-
tions; and a description of the district to be benefited by

the proposed acquisitions and a map showing the same.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of �th�e City
