CALIF. RESOLUTION NO. G3_6. WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach, by and through its City Council, did, by Resolution No. G.SZ , order and direct the City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach to publish a Notice Inviting Bids, for the purchase of one certain 500 gallon motor propelled, triple combination pumping engine, water tank and hose car; and WHEREAS, said Notice has been duly published as required by said Resolution No. C 5 2 ; and WHEREAS, said Notice Inviting Bids, required that all bids be in writing and be delivered to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach on or before the hour of 7!30 o'clock P. M..on the 2nd day of March, 1931; and WHEREAS, pursuant to .said Notice, certain bids have been filed as required by said Notice, with this City Council, which bids have been duly opened. and considered by the City Council; and r WHEREAS it appearing that the bid. of is the lowest responsible bid, and that said bid is in accordance with the Notice Inviting Bids. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the bid of �fvo ��✓- , be and the same, is hereby accepted; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said equipment be purchased from the saidG�a�„ �v� �C7aaa z,�rvo �� at the price and upon the conditions and terms mentioned in his said bid; and 1 es • 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21. 22 23 25 :?26 27 •` F 26 Y� • 4 HE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk 'of said .City of Newport Beach.be authorized and instructed to sign the contract purchasing said property, in the name of and on behalf of said City of Newport Beach, and that said con- tract be signed in duplicate, and when the same has been duly executed by the successful bidder, that an original duplicate be filed in the files of said City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That upon the execution of said contract by the successful bidder, as aforesaid, that his certified check be returned to him. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all other bids be and the same are hereby rejected, and the City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach is authorized and instructed to return the checks accompanying said bids, to the respective unsuccess- ful bidders. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11Wday of March, 1931 ", by the following vote, to —wit: t ITTEST :.
