RESOLUTION NO. ,7,2 7
WHEREAS, there had been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Lease Contract dated the
18th day of January, 1932, by and between the City of Newport
a municipal corporation of the sixth class of Orange County,
California, as party of the first part, and 0. R. Ericsson and
L. B. Mudd, as parties of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said Lease Contract provides for the party
of the first part leasing to the party of the second part one two
stage air compressor, 8 cubic foot capacity, one 75 H. B. Adams
Full Diesel Engine, together with belting and operating tools,
all being used equipment, for the rental of sum of Seven Hundred
Dollars ($700.00), upon certain conditions and terms set forth
in said Lease Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. That said Lease
('Contract be, and the same is hereby approved as written, by the
City Council of said City of Newport Beach, and the Mayor and
City Clerk of said City shall, and they are hereby authorized
Land directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, and the
Clerk is directed to have the parties of the second part sign
said Lease Contract, and said Lease Contract shall thereupon be
(filed and become a valid contract as between said parties.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
j1duly and regularly passed by the.City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meetingthereof held on the ]at day of
!February, 1932, by the following vote, to -wit:
