RESOLUTION NO. _ I Z I
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Contract dated the 15th
day of February, 1932, by and between the City of Newport Beach,
a municipal corporation, as party of the first part, and C. E.
Price and E. V. S. Pomeroy, both of Orange County, California,
as parties of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said Contract provides for the party of the
first part selling and delivering unto the parties of the second
part all garbage which may be collected from time to time by
the Superintendent of Streets of said City of Newport Beach, from
the various residences and business houses in said City, upon the
terms and conditions as in said Contract provided for.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said Contract
be, and the same is hereby approved as written, by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, and the Mayor and City
Clerk of saidCity shall, and they are hereby authorized and
directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, and the Clerk
is directed to have the parties of the second part sign said
Contract, and said Contract shall thereupon be filed and become
a valid Contract as between said parties.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
