RESOLUTION NO.

2 WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City Attorney
3 of the City of Newport Beach has prepared a contract in which the
4 City of Newport Beach agrees to furnish sewer facilities to J. A.
s Beek and L. W. Briggs upon the conditions.. covenants and terms
6 in said contract provided for; and
7 WHEREAS, said sewer facilities are to be used by
8 said J. A. Beek and L. W. Briggs on that certain island owned by
v said parties, and known as Beek's Island; and
10 WHEREAS, said contract has been duly presented by
it said City Attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport
12 Beach for its acceptance and approval.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That that certain
14 contract made and entered into the 5th day of June, 1933, by and
15 between the City of Newport Beach as the party of the first part
16 and J. A. Beek and L. W. Briggs, as parties of the second part,
17 and wherein and whereby the City of Newport Beach agrees to
18 furnish sewer facilities to the parties of the second part upon
tv certain conditions and terms, be and the same is hereby approved.
20 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
21 Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be authorized and directed to
22 sign said contract on behalf of said city of Newport Beach.
